Five Questions with...
Devon Dunnington

1) What project are you currently working on?
I am currently working on several titles (self published). I am doing some cover art for a free comic book company (MFC- Magnum Fist Comics). Also I am one of the founders at Draw Comics. Starting up our first couple of titles over there. As well as working on some of my own tiles for submission to some more mainstream publishers. I feel very busy at times.

2) Who in your field do you admire most and why?
There are so many. To name a few: John Romita Sr., John Romita Jr., Paolo Rivara, Jim Lee, Steve Ditko, you know what the list goes on, and there are too many great artists out there. I admire them all for following the dream and producing great art for all of us to enjoy.

3) How did you get into the comic book field?
As a kid I always wanted to be a comic book artist. Around 1999-2000 I had completely stopped drawing having no time to even sit and doodle anything. Well time passed and in April of 2013 I picked up the pen again and was amazed that I still had the talent. I was asked to draw raffle prizes for my local comic book store. Showed up for Free Comic Book Day and did free sketches for the customers. Then I decided to make my own comic(s). I was asked to help out some if my online friends doing colors and covers for them. And a couple of buddies and I started up Draw Comics (you can find us on Facebook). At rate I'm going I'm sure you'll see my name more and more.

4) Which title would you most like to work on and why?
Any really, to be honest I just love to draw, but if I could pick I would love to pencil for Spider-Man. I have been a huge fan since I was a kid.

5) What project will you be working on next?
I will continue working on the titles over at Draw Comics and MFC, but hopefully you'll see my name in the corner of some of your favorite titles in the near future.
