Velvet (2013) #3
International espionage and intrigue are only part of this gripping series. Velvet needs to get to a generalís wife to learn how a fellow agent was killed. The story is taut and engaging. So far this title is three for three!

Velvet (2013) #2
The storytelling is top-notch in this issue, which is full of suspense, action, and intrigue. Someone has set Velvet up and she intends on finding out who. This series is a lot of fun!

Wow! Writer Ed Brubaker and artist Steve Epting have a winner on their hands. Things go from bad to worse once a former special operative is killed. The story is set during the cold war in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The pace is steady, the storytelling compelling, and the plot twists intriguing but believable. The ending sets us up for another thrill ride in the next issue.
